Appropriate Body for NQTs
Woodfield TSA is pleased to act as an Appropriate Body to all schools in Brent and beyond.
This year Woodfield TSA will work in collaboration with Brent Teaching School Alliance (BTSA) to deliver the most comprehensive and progressive primary CPD to NQTs for the 2018/2019 Academic Year.
This programme embraces a multi-layered approach to the core values and key competencies that underpin high quality teaching and learning. It also establishes a firm basis for on-going professional development and it is appropriate for NQTs in all subject areas, with pedagogy as the central theme. This programme will also be responsive to on-going national policy developments.
The NQTs will be encouraged to develop peer support networks and to sustain relationships beyond the duration of the programme. The emphasis of this CPD programme is on peer discussion, action planning and reflection. It is designed to complement school-based induction for NQTs.
