Outreach: School-to-school support
Woodfield School is recognised by the National College for Teaching &¬†Leadership as a National Support School. Its head teacher, Mrs Desi Lodge¬†Patch is a National Leader of Education.
Woodfield TSA has a team of Specialist Leaders of Education as well as specialist educators with professional¬†experience in addressing special needs, inclusion and curriculum modelling.¬†Their approaches vary, depending on the client school‚Äôs concerns. Most¬†frequently they offer diagnostic support, modelling, research analysis or¬†coaching techniques to meet your needs. They work with head teachers and¬†senior leaders to precisely identify key focus areas for support and set out¬†performance indicators to measure success.
Woodfield School is an Inclusion Quality Mark (UK) flagship school.
Fourteen members of staff are available to offer outreach support to other¬†schools. Their areas of expertise are from the following:
- Safeguarding: responsibilities, policy, and exemplar practice – A comprehensive overview of SEND
- Post 16 teaching and learning pathways for SEN pupils
- Positive Behaviour Management
- Speech and Language consultancy
- Autism consultancy
- Drama therapy
- Residential and expedition leadership
